Keyworks specializes in the repair of automotive electronic control modules. While we currently list the most common orders on our site, we are continually updating our listings. We service all automotive modules (and even some non-automotive items), so if you do not see what you need, please contact us, and we will look into adding it.
Starting the Process
Identify the Issue
Once you determine the issues is with your electronic control module and it needs repair, please make the necessary purchase from our store. If no listing is present, please contact us first. The mailing address will be provided after checkout and emailed to you.
Package Your Electronics and Ship to us
Gently package your items, include your order number, a description of the symptoms, any testing done and then ship to our shop via USPS, FedEx, or UPS. You will need to cover the costs of shipping to us but the return shipping is already included in repair price.
When Your Module Arrives at Our Shop
Initial Inspection and Testing
Our total handling time for testing and repairs is typically around 1-3 business days but its heavily depending on the module and the issues it may be having.
The initial inspection includes:
Diagnostic functions test.
Complete disassembly and visual inspection.
PCB component-level testing.
Repair and Refund Policy
If your unit is faulty and not repairable, we will issue you a refund minus processing (5%) & shipping costs.
If your unit fails testing, we will continue with the full repair until all functions are tested and working correctly.
If your unit passes all testing without needing repair, we will issue a refund minus our standard testing and return fee of $90-$125, depending on the module.
